The Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders program has launched its second edition in India, and applications are now open!
Program and Purpose
The program aims to empower women entrepreneurs in India who use technology to address complex issues and create a positive impact on society. The three-month program includes mentorship, workshops, and access to resources and networks for startups across all sectors, including healthcare, education, finance, and e-commerce.
Support and Benefits
The program includes specific modules to support women entrepreneurs in areas such as seeking guidance and advice, talent attraction, and leveraging networks for assistance, aimed at building confidence where cultural adaptation may create some self-doubt. Additionally, selected participants will receive support from experts and mentors from Google and external networks in areas such as technology, product strategy, people, growth, and fundraising. The program also provides access to Google’s global network of mentors, investors, and industry leaders.
First Cohort
The recently graduated first cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders included startups working on a range of innovative solutions, such as AI-powered diagnostic tools for healthcare, an app for managing menstrual hygiene, a platform for rural artisans to sell their products online, and much more.
