What to Include in Your Resume
Your goal is to identify the experience you have and highlight it, linking it to the job requirements as stated in the job description. For example, you may not have held an official title as a manager, but you may have trained new employees in your after-school job and assisted your supervisor in organizing schedules and filing. Clarifying responsibilities and leadership qualities may help compensate for the lack of an official title.
On the other hand, you may have little paid work experience but a lot of volunteer work on your resume. Don’t just match apples to apples.
Dive into your experience and abilities and focus on what you can do for the potential employer.

How to Apply for Jobs as a High School Graduate
Do not assume that you are unqualified for a job just because you lack some of the ideal requirements listed in the job description. Hiring managers tend to list the skills, experiences, and qualifications they hope to find in an ideal candidate.
But the truth is that this perfect person may not exist. Moreover, the best person for the job may be someone who does not meet all the requirements but has other qualities that recommend them, such as a positive attitude, the ability to learn, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Unless you lack the basic skills for the job, it is usually worthwhile to apply for the position.
The only thing you can lose is your time. Additionally, the more you apply for jobs, the better you become at writing resumes and cover letters, participating in job interviews, and networking your way to new opportunities.
