Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First Program
In 2018, we announced the Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa program. Since then, we have rushed to walk alongside 106 startups from 17 African countries, creating environments that enhance their efforts, secure funding, and generate job opportunities.
On this journey with African startups, we have witnessed firsthand their resilience and willingness to tackle challenges in Africa. Artificial intelligence represents a tremendous opportunity to amplify their innovations and scale their visionary ideas. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the “Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First” program—a 10-week equity-free accelerator program for startups up to Series A based in Africa or building Africa-focused solutions using artificial intelligence and machine learning. The program aims to connect the best of Google’s products and experts to empower startups to expand their businesses towards success in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and technology.
