Turning Flaws into Strengths
Billie discussed how to turn flaws into strengths in building her business. Instead of waiting until she was completely ready, she decided to be transparent with customers and involve them in making important decisions. Additionally, she leveraged her lack of previous experience in the beauty industry to be adaptable, learn from customers, and develop her products based on their feedback.
Connecting with Customers
Billie talked about the importance of building a community and connecting with customers. She created a private Facebook group for Tribe Beauty Box customers, where members can share their favorite products, discuss products, and offer tips and ideas. Billie also uses email, Facebook, and YouTube to communicate with customers and provide them with valuable content.
Expansion and the Future
Billie talks about her plans for expansion in the future, including branching out to the UK and launching her own products. Billie believes that success lies in achieving her goals and providing a seamless experience for customers.
