Applications for the eighth cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: India are now open for AI-driven startups.

Google invites AI startups in India that are funded from seed to Series A to apply for the Google for Startups Accelerator: India Class 8 by August 22, 2023.

Call for AI Startups in India

Startups across various sectors are utilizing AI to develop innovative solutions, enhance efficiency, create new market opportunities, and do more with less effort – with generative AI, the potential opportunities are much greater.

According to NASSCOM, AI startups in India are facing challenges in accessing scalable infrastructure, a lack of high-quality datasets, and frameworks around data privacy and ethics. At Google, we collaborate with startups to help them build scalable solutions responsibly using AI and machine learning from the ground up.

Through the Google for Startups Accelerator in India, we support startups like BrainSightAI or Wysa using AI technology to develop unique solutions to critical challenges, and as the AI landscape evolves rapidly, we are committed to supporting the startup ecosystem in India to harness its significant potential.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for AI-driven startups in India operating across various sectors to solve complex problems and tackle the tough challenges in their industry. Startups that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:

• Startups based in India
• Startups leveraging AI across various sectors, with AI as a core part of their solution or product, including generative AI
• Startups in the seed to Series A stage

Selected startups will receive hands-on mentorship, as well as training on product design, growth, and leadership development. The program culminates in a demo day to increase visibility within the ecosystem, and founders can continue to receive support after the program ends through the Google for Startups alumni network.
