Weird black holes may hold secrets of the early universe.

Increasing evidence suggests that strange and massive black holes may exist in the centers of dwarf galaxies. Previously, scientists believed that these giant black holes were found only in the centers of massive galaxies. However, computer simulations and astronomical observations have shown that some large black holes exist in dwarf galaxies and do not appear in their centers. Additionally, astronomers have observed evidence of black holes wandering on the outskirts of galaxies and, in some rare cases, being ejected from their locations into intergalactic space.
