Reader Idea: Do you give a signature gift?
When Emilly wrote, “Is it crazy that the most important thing on my Christmas wish list is to find something perfect that is easy to wrap and that I can buy several copies of and give to everyone on my list?!” I remembered one of the best tips we got from the CoJ community. A few years ago, M.E. wrote, “Since my family is huge, I’m a fan of the signature gift for Christmas – something beautiful and small that fits everyone. This year, I’ll gift hats. Each of my nieces and nephews will get one hat, and they’ll all be exactly the same, so no one gets upset about who likes which color best.”
How great is that? For hats, I love this ribbed style for $15 that comes in six colors. They’re warm, cozy, and practical, and everyone looks good in them. This $15 scarf would also make a wonderful gift. The cherry red is my favorite – it’s always a classic color that adds a pop to a coat.

One year, I filled a basket with ‘things I can’t live without,’ and it was such a big hit that we made it a tradition.
