But don’t worry – they won’t completely destroy it; instead, they will reshape it a bit. Gravity encourages bodies in space to form in a spherical shape, but in this episode, Earth will be transformed into a cube.

With no air to interfere, the edges will be ideal for launching spacecraft and telescopes. However, the continuous earthquakes occurring as gravity tries to reshape the planet back into a sphere may make things difficult.
Life on the Cubed Planet
Days will look different, as every sunrise and sunset will happen suddenly on each face of the planet. The new shape of the world and the six bubbles of the atmosphere will encourage island-like evolutionary development, potentially leading to strange wildlife and massive sea monsters.
