How will you celebrate Thanksgiving, if you do? The kids are heading to the countryside with Alex, but my parents are visiting Brooklyn, and we are hosting a huge meal for friends and neighbors (and Georgie!). – Tanya says about your Thanksgiving specialty: “I really wanted my special dish to be my mom’s scalloped potatoes. My mom made the richest, tastiest scalloped potatoes for Thanksgiving every year when I was little. I looked forward to the crispy edges. In the first year of my marriage, we went to a friend’s dinner and I called my mom to ask for her recipe.
– Sereydwen says about words she loves: “I loved your recent post about a few marginalized words, so I tried to bring back some old phrases, which is fun and quirky. Go for a stroll!
