“Let’s go!” Why Dak Prescott uses a unique tone to initiate plays

You don’t have to be a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan to hear it. “Yes! Let’s gooo.” This is how the tone that quarterback Dak Prescott uses to start the Cowboys’ offensive drives begins. Thanks to the precision of the sideline microphones and Prescott’s loud voice, you don’t need to have the volume turned up on your TV to hear it. – Lorenzo Reyes

Dolphins 19, Cowboys 10: Jason Sanders scores fourth field goal

Jason Sanders improved to 4-4 after scoring a 35-yard field goal towards the end of the third quarter. The kick came after a drive where Tua Tagovailoa found Tyreek Hill and Durham Smythe for receptions of 18 and 21 yards. Dolphins

Cowboys 7: Jason Sanders Scores Third Field Goal from Over 50 Yards

The Dolphins extended their lead in the third quarter. It took the Dolphins only five plays to reach field goal range. Halftime: Dolphins Lead Cowboys 13-7

The Dolphins scored a late touchdown to take the lead over the Cowboys, but as is often the case in American football in 2023, the drive was not without controversy. A penalty for roughing the passer was called on Micah Parsons, who showed visible frustration with the call, and Fox rules expert Dean Blandino also challenged the decision, stating that Parsons was within the rules. Despite everything, the first half featured some questionable calls, some big plays, and good football. All of that led to a Dolphins lead of 13-7 at halftime. – Joe Rivera

Raheem Mostert Gives Dolphins the Lead with Touchdown Before Halftime

Raheem Mostert scored his twenty-first touchdown of the season and gave the Dolphins the lead for the first time in the game. The touchdown came on a 4-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa. The running back made a move to the right before breaking to the left where he caught the ball with one hand in the back corner of the end zone. The touchdown came after Micah Parsons of the Cowboys was penalized for roughing the passer. On a previous play, Tagovailoa had to burn a timeout due to confusion among the receivers. – Joe Rivera

Jalen Waddle Injury Update: Dolphins Receiver Suffered Eye Injury

Waddle’s ability to return to the game is currently in question according to the Dolphins. It appears Waddle was poked in the eye during a Dolphins drive in the red zone. – Joe Rivera

Tyreek Hill’s Touchdown Extends Dolphins Lead with Second Goal

The Dolphins scored their second touchdown of the game, a 52-yard field goal from Jason Sanders, near the end of the second quarter. The field goal came after Tua Tagovailoa made a 20-yard pass to Tyreek Hill for the star receiver’s first catch of the game. With questions surrounding Jalen Waddle’s return due to an eye injury, Miami’s offensive drive struggled to achieve much. Dallas leads 7-6. – Victoria Hernandez

CeeDee Lamb Makes History, Ties Dallas Legends Against Dolphins

With his touchdown in the first quarter, CeeDee Lamb has now scored in seven consecutive games. This is the longest active streak in the National Football League, according to the Dallas Cowboys. He joins Pro Bowl player Dez Bryant and Hall of Famer Terrell Owens as only the Cowboys to have scored in seven straight games. Earlier in the game against the Dolphins, Lamb became the sixth player in NFL history and the first in Dallas history to reach 5000 receiving yards in his first four seasons. It’s a missed opportunity for the Dolphins in the red zone when they could have settled for three points. – Safed Deen

End of the First Quarter: Cowboys Lead Dolphins 7-0

Lamb already has four receptions, 93 yards, and a touchdown. Lamb has scored in seven consecutive games. – Tyler Dragon

Dolphins Score First Points, Leading 3-0

The Dolphins crossed midfield with a 50-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Jaylen Waddle, but they stalled at midfield. Miami sent Jason Sanders out to attempt a 57-yard field goal, but they realized they were short a player on the field and had to call a timeout. Nevertheless, Sanders succeeded in kicking a 57-yarder to give Miami a 3-0 lead with 2:50 remaining in the first quarter. This kick almost turned out to be a mistake for Miami, but they paid the price. – Safed Deen
