The Astrophysical Advisory Committee (APAC) is a new committee under NASA, replacing the Astrophysical Science Committee of the National Advisory Council’s (NAC SC) Astronomy and Astrophysics Subcommittee. The materials from the previous committee include the APAC charter, assessments of senior scientists in astrophysics, and evaluations of the independent balloon program. APAC includes members from various universities, research centers, and NASA laboratories.
Upcoming Meetings
The upcoming meetings of the Astrophysical Advisory Committee will be held on March 19-20, 2024. These meetings will focus on discussing the advisory needs of the Astrophysics Division, the Science Mission Directorate, and other NASA mission directorates.
