Deirdre says about the transition from one child to two: “When I was pregnant with my second child, I made a photo book for my oldest’s first year. It helped me imagine having a baby around, and he was obsessed with it. Once his brother was born, every time we celebrated a new milestone (like the first bath!), my older son got so excited, knowing those were the milestones we had celebrated with him.”

Jessica says about how to welcome everyone during the holidays: “I’m a person with a physical disability: before the party, I love when the host asks me the question ‘What can I do to ensure you have a 10/10 time?’ It’s a less disability-focused way to ask how to be an excellent host, rather than the person having to scramble to advocate for themselves.”

Amber says about four fun things: “My kids are growing up in a multi-religious family (Jewish and Christian) and we put a bagel on top of our tree.”
