Deirdre says about transitioning from one child to two: “When I was pregnant with my second child, I made a photo book for my kids’ first year. That helped me envision having a child around, and I became obsessed with it. Once his brother was born, every time we celebrated a new milestone (like the first bath!), my older son got excited, knowing these were the milestones we were excited for him.”

Jessica says about welcoming everyone during the holidays: “I’m a physically disabled person: before the party, I love when the host asks me the question ‘What can I do to ensure you have a 10/10 amazing time?’ It’s a less disability-focused way to ask how to be an excellent host, rather than the person having to scramble to advocate for themselves.”

Amber says about four fun things: “My kids are growing up in a multi-religious family (Jewish and Christian), and we put a bagel piece on top of our tree.”
